No more vents!! Weber was listening to its customers!! (2010-05-24)
I just purchased this cover from Lowes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are NO VENTS. Weber has apparently listened to their customers and re-designed this cover to eliminate all vents.
This cover is extremely high quality and I am VERY pleased with it.
Save $10 and taxes by buying it on Amazon. I bought it on impulse when I was in Lowes.
Just as advertised (2010-05-23)
The material for this product is more heavy duty than I expected, which is great. Living the midwest it should hold up better some of the traditional fabric canvas materials, or light rainproof materials some other covers are made of.
I would have liked to see some dimentions included in the original description before I bought it, as my cover does not go down to bottom of my grill. That's probably b/c my grill is not a Weber, but an off brand. I'm sure this fits perfectly for Weber's.
We'll see how it hold up through the winter, if it does, I'll give it the 5th star.
Weber cover (2010-05-23)
You would think that with such a great BBQ thier cover would also be great. But that is not the case. If left out in the rain your BBQ still gets wet even with the cover on it. Yes some how it leaks, maybe through the stitches, can't think of any thing else. My old weber Grill could stay out in any weather and stay dry, but not this one. When I think it's going to rain I wheel the Grill under the Patio Awning. The cover looks good and seems to be made of good material. If a little moisture under the cover after a rain is not a problem then this cover will probably be ok.

We recently purchased a beautful Weber Grill and was going to also purchase the grill cover. When I found out how much the store was charging I decided to order from Amazon and found that it was 10.00 less. When it arrived we were so pleased with the quality of the cover. We are extremely happy with all of Weber's products and love the fact that we usually can get most products for less at Amazon making the product all the more enjoyable.
Weber Genisis Grill Cover (2010-05-09)
Very nice cover by Weber. Heavy material and velcro fasteners on both sides to keep the cover on tight. Will not blow off the grill. And there are no slits on this cover so water will get inside.
