Love the grill (2010-06-01)
Been through a lot of grills including high end. But you just can't
beat a Weber!

Love my Q220!! (2010-06-01)
Fast delivery. Easy set-up. Cooks great!! Have had no problems...lights right up every time...I use the adapter hose and a propane tank and it works like a charm. Great buy!

Big Grill with a Small Footprint (2010-05-30)
I have a small patio and wanted a grill that didn't take up space - this grill sits perfectly at the end of the 3' wide flower bed! I've had it for a year, and have only had a problem once...my own fault -don't try to RE-light it without waiting five minutes or it will not get hot. (follow the instructions printed on the grill).

It heats up very quickly ... hold a lot of food ... cleans up easily ... and it's portable (although I have no plans to take it anywhere)

I would give it 5-stars if it weren't for the side tables... they cannot hold much weight as they have no support from underneath... but they are handy for holding the tools and condiments

Weber Q220 (2010-05-28)
We had planned to go camping, and needed a grill better than the small one we already had. So, we bought the Weber Q220. The size of it is excellent; more than big enough for our family of 4, and plenty of room on the porcelain-coated cast iron grate (which I also like, as it really holds in the heat). It can run off a 1-pound cylinder tank, but I would really only recommend that if you are going tailgating or camping for 1 night only. You'll burn through the small tanks fairly quickly if you cook a lot. We went through about a tank a day camping, and getting the adaptor hose to hook it up to the larger, 20-pound tank would be better for our use. At 40 pounds, it is heavy, but not too heavy for camping. But if you want a cast iron grate, it will be heavy. The side tables are great, and they were more than adequate for us, but I'd hate to put something REALLY heavy on them, like a very big and heavy platter of food. On the underside of the side tables there is utensil storage, which would be pretty handy, but our larger set of Weber spatula/tongs don't fit, so you have to buy the Q set if you want to utilize it. Gas output was certainly less than on my larger grill at home, and I did need to give the Q about 10 minutes to heat up (a good 15 minutes if you are using the Q6505 Griddle), but once at temperature, it worked fine. Compared to my larger grill, I did have to keep the adjustment knob turned closer to high to keep the temperature up, but it cooked beautifully. This grill does have only 1 burner, so it can be tricky to cook items that require more indirect methods, but I've seen lots of web pages on how to do that; I just haven't tried it yet. The thermometer in the lid is great; the smaller models of the Q don't have one. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 if I could, but I'll just have to rate it a 4 of 5.

Love it, but (2010-05-23)
My grill will not be a year old for another month+ and the brash piece in the regulator came out when I unscrewed the gas tank (small camping propane can) Weber was great. They're sending me the pieces express delivery. I'm hoping it was just a fluke and it won't happen again. I'm handicapped but was assured that the repair was easy.
