Great Accessory (2010-07-22)
Though I really didn't need this to create indirect heating, organizing the fire is pretty easy. I like being able to shake the ashes (cold, of course) into my ash can. The design makes it easy to dump the contents (partial to completely full) of the chimney starter into the baskets. Two things to improve the product:
1. Make one SLIGHTLY smaller so they nest in each other better
2. Not have sharp edges.

Great for the Weber Rotisserie... (2010-07-05)
Use these along with the Weber Rotisserie for perfect food every time. Well built; just like all things Weber.

Weber Charcoal Baskets.....The Disappointment (2010-06-12)
I love my Weber Performer grill and anything Weber. However, I was shocked to see that the Charcoal Baskets (and Grills that I bought at Home Depot) are now made in China. What bothers me is that the cost of these items hasn't gone down, which tells me that it is a an issue of profit rather than quality. Please tell me that this isn't so Weber. While I am ranting, WTF happened to NAFTA? If I saw that these components were now made in Mexico or Canada I would have nothing to say.

Low tech, but effective (2010-06-01)
What can you say about a metal box built to hold hot coals? These do exactly what they are supposed to do.

Makes the job a lot easier (2010-05-13)
Have one of the larger weber charcoal grills and these baskets really help me maintain a constant cook temperature each time I grill. Has really helped me be able to multi-task vice constantly baby sitting whatever I'm grilling. Also makes for two good spots for direct grilling and a great strip down the middle for indirect. Have pushed them both together as well for a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs. Worth every penny.
